Welcome to the Birth To Three Alumni and Friends' web page!

Here you will...

  • read stories about what some of the “grown up babies” are doing
  • find out about activities for families
  • get news about upcoming events
  • share grandparenting tips
  • post items you’re looking to buy, sell, or give away
  • place ads for your own business
  • discover ways to support the organization

We’d like this web page to be of interest and use to you, our Alumni, so if you have ideas or suggestions please forward them to Sarah Peroutka, Community Relations Specialist (sarahp@birthto3.org) or call 541-349-7793.

Who are Birth To Three’s Alumni?
Since 1978, close to 90,000 individuals in our local community of Eugene/Springfield and Lane County, Oregon, have benefited from Birth To Three’s parenting education and support. We call these people our Alumni. Who are they? They are people from a wide range of walks of life, cultures, ages and economic levels. They include:

  • Highly stressed parents and parents with little or no stress in their lives.

  • Parents in their teens, twenties, thirties, forties and fifties.

  • Married couples, single parents, same sex couples, and grandparents raising grandchildren.

  • People with advanced degrees, and those who didn’t finish high school.

  • Office workers, loggers, students, attorneys, food service employees, musicians, bankers, teachers, truck drivers, counselors, physicians, nurses, artists, librarians, mechanics, laborers, private investigators, and law professors.

  • People who speak English, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Urdu, Mandarin, Japanese and German.

They are people just like you!

What do Birth To Three Alumni have in common?

They wanted to learn as much as they could about child development from a leading parent education organization. They wanted to experience the support and encouragement of other parents.
They wanted to be the best parents possible. They participated in Birth To Three parenting groups!

Alumni are important to Birth To Three

Alumni are the best ambassadors for the organization. If you tell pregnant and newly parenting families about your experiences at Birth To Three, they will be encouraged to join a group. Confident, skilled parents and their children contribute to a healthy community, and that's something that benefits all of us!
