Ways Alumni Can Help Birth To Three

Committee Work

Donating your time, talent and expertise to one of  Birth To Three’s committees can be personally rewarding, professionally expansive and a great way to meet other alumni and community volunteers interested in parenting education and families. Committee work is a vital help to Birth To Three in furthering its mission and goals. From event planning to fundraising, marketing and public relations to finance, there is a committee that can use your inspiration and involvement. Call Terry Kirby at 541-349-7792 or send her an e-mail.

Be an Ambassador!

This is probably the most important way Alumni can help the organization. Let pregnant and newly-parenting families know how important Birth To Three has been to you and encourage them to call the Parent HelpLine for confidential advice. Tell new parents about Baby Connection, too!

Take a Get Acquainted Tour
We’ve been helping to strengthen families since 1978! Three decades of experience has enabled us to develop the kind of expertise that’s in demand around the country—and the world! Please join us to catch up on what’s new at Birth To Three. You’ll take a tour of the facility, learn about the spectrum of programs and services we offer, and the populations they serve. Learn about our plans for the future, and how we can work together to make parenting education and support available for ALL parents. Contact Development Directors Linda Weaver or Terry Kirby at 541-349-7792 for the tour schedule.

Office Support
Volunteers are needed to make photocopies, do filing, and assemble packets—on a schedule that’s convenient for you. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be delighted to hear from you!

Special Event Representative
We like to be at events where Birth To Three can connect with new families. We provide fun activities for kids and information for parents. You can take a shift or two and get to attend the event for free! To help, contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
