Volunteer FAQs Birth To Three

Q. What kind of commitment do I need to make?
A. The length of commitment will depend on your time, interests and the needs of our organization. On average, volunteers give one to 3 hours a week. In order to maintain a consistent program, we ask that you make an initial three-month commitment as a volunteer.

Q. How do I become a Volunteer?
A. Contact a Volunteer Specialist ( lisab@birthto3.org or mariaw@birthto3.org), or the phone number below to set up an appointment for an interview. You will receive an overview of Birth To Three programs and services, a tour of the facility, and learn the specifics about volunteer opportunities. We will match your interests and available time to our needs in a way that proves mutually beneficial. You will be asked to provide references, and all volunteers working with children and families receive a criminal background check.

Q. What are the advantages of being a Birth To Three volunteer?
A. You will meet and join a team of amazing people who generously share their time and talents with the families of our community. You will have the opportunity to share your skills, learn new ones, and explore new areas of interest. You can feel good knowing that you are making a positive difference in the lives of families right here in our own community.
